The Real Concord Floral
Concord Floral was built in 1921 by a man named Fred H. Miller in Vaughan, Ontario. This greenhouse was originally named the Miller Florists Limited. During the 1930’s, Miller's son took over the family business and changed its name to the Concord Floral Company. the original Concord Floral was roughly a half million square feet and was said to be one of Canada’s biggest rose manufacturer. After years of business and generations of ownership, in 2000, the Concord Floral greenhouse shut down. The property was sold and demolished in April 2012. |
